Bundle Cable Burning Test Machine
Uses
Suitable for flame retardant wire and cable burning experiments
Technical Parameters
1. Experimental device
1.1 Test chamber: The experimental device shall be a
self-supporting box of width (1000 ± 100) mm, depth (2000 ± 100) mm
and height (4000 ± 100) mm. The back wall and both sides of the
test box shall be heat insulated with a heat transfer coefficient
of approximately 0.7 W?m-2?K-1, a USU304 stainless steel plate of
1.5 mm thickness, and a 65 mm thick insulating mineral fiber in the
middle, 1.5 for the outside. Mm thick USU304 stainless steel plate
1.2 Air source:
1.2.1 The air inlet is equipped with a digital air speed wind
speedometer, and the air flow rate of the air is (5000±500) L/min.
1.2.2 After the test is completed: If the sample is still burning
for one hour after the fire is stopped, an alarm is issued and the
combustion is forcibly stopped by rain.
Device
1.3 Steel ladder type: wide (500 ± 5) mm standard steel ladder
width (800 ± 10) mm wide steel ladder material USU304 stainless
round steel
1.4 emission purification device:
1.4.1 The upper part of the test box is equipped with a digital
anemometer to ensure that the flow rate of the wind is less than
8M/S, which will not affect the air flow in the test chamber.
1.4.2 Smoke collection and washing Fume device: SUS304 stainless
steel with a diameter of 800mm and a height of 3500mm.
2, ignition source
Type 2.1: The ignition source shall include one or two propane gas
burners with their associated flowmeters and venturi mixers. The
surface of the fire shall be 244 flat metal plates with a diameter
of 1.32mm. The center distance of these holes is 3.2mm, which is
staggered in three rows, each of which is 81, 80 and 81,
distributed in the nominal The size is in the range of 257 x 4.5
mm. In addition, a row of small holes are formed on both sides of
the fire-breathing plate, and these guiding holes can maintain
stable combustion of the flame. Each burner should be equipped with
an accurate device to control the rate of propane and air inflow.
Rotor flow meter or mass flow meter can be used
2.2 Location of ignition source The burner should be placed
horizontally (75±5) mm from the front surface of the cable
specimen, 600±5 mm from the bottom of the test chamber, and
symmetric with the axis of the steel ladder. The burner light
supply point shall be located at the center between the two
crosspieces of the steel ladder and at least 500mm from the lower
end of the specimen.
