The Disposable Endo Cutter Staplers have applications in abdominal, gynecologic, pediatric and thoracic surgery for resection, transection and creation of anastomosis. Staple shape height depends on the specification of single use loading units.Always inspect the tissue thickness and select an appropriate staple sizepriortoapplicationoftheEndolinearcutterstapler.

Steps to use

Step 1: Take out instrument. Assemble the reload

a.Take out the instrument from the sterile package.

Note Check the sterile package is in good condition. All the parts in the sterile package are ok and no broken or loosing issue

b.Assemble the reload, need the endoscopic stapler jaws is in the open position.

c.Hold the new reload and inserted it into the jaw, Make sure the reload positioning bosses aligned with the cartridge housing locating groove and then press the reload by your thumb, the reload firmly stuck in the staple cartridge holder. And remove the protective cover.

Step 2: Close the anvil

Hold the closing handle until hear a "Ka" sound, the anvil jaws closed and locked.

Note: A. Don’t squeeze the firing handle at this time

B.Make sure the close handle and hand holder close together (white handle touch white handle)

C.It’s better to hold off the handle at the location of the illustration showed

Step 3:Enters the cavity through the Trocar

a.Handheld instrument through Trocar (Illustration)

NOTE: This process required to maintain the jaws in the closed state; do not squeeze the firing handle

b.When the ENDO cutter stapler is inserted into the body cavity, hold the close handle tightly, press the release button, loose the close handle first, then release the release button .

Step 4: Firing to complete the cutting and staple

a.Place the jaw of the instrument around the desired tissue, and adjust the direction of the jaw.

Tips: 1. The shaft rotation knob could be rotated to adjust the direction of the jaw, the shaft can be rotated in 360 degrees angle.

2. If the angel of the jaw needs to be shift, as the below illustrator shows by pulling the shaft rotation knob with fingers, release the articulating lock. Then switch the head of the jaw by the abdominal wall muscles or instrument, the maximum adjustable direction is 45 degrees around each .

b. Place the tissue into the jaw, hold the close handle tightly until hearing a "Ka" sound, the jaw is closed and locked.

NOTE: Please ensure the target tissue is flat.

c.Close the firing handle in the direction of illustration shows, until it touch the closing handle , repeat three times of firing to complete the tissue stapler and cutting. The forth firing will draw back the knife into its original position. (as illustration below)

NOTE: a. Make sure the firing handle touches the closing handle when close the firing handle.(blue handle touches the white handle)

Tips: The walking direction of cutting knife can be known by knife direction window.

d.Make sure the knife is returned to the original position.

NOTE: If the knife does not return to the original position (as illustration below), pull back the manual reset button in the direction of illustration shows and hold close the firing handle until the knife return to the original position.

Step 5: Take out the instrument

1. After the knife return to the original position,hold the close handle tightly,press the release button and keep it,loose the close handle at first,then release the release button.The jaw will be opened at this moment,remove the tissue from the jaw. as illustration belowed.

b. Repeat the steps of jaw closing
