During the operation of the engine, the temperature of the combustion chamber of the electric engine will rise, which will cause the temperature of the spark plug electrode to be too high. In order to prolong the service life of industrial spark plugs, Takumi applies precious metals on the central electrode and grounding electrode. If the temperature is too high, these precious metals will gradually melt, which will have an adverse effect on the service life of spark plugs. This may result in a short circuit of the electrodes (globular formation) and a decrease in the spark plug voltage.TAKUMI spark plugs drastically reduces the risk of so-called globule formation.
