Skid Mounted Fire Pump With Centrifugal End Suction Fire Pump Sets On 450GPM @ 105PSI UL / NFPA20
The fire pump starts when the pressure in the fire sprinkler system drops below a threshold. The sprinkler system pressure drops significantly when one or more fire sprinklers are exposed to heat above their design temperature, and opens, releasing water. Alternately, other fire hoses reels or other firefighting connections are opened, causing a pressure drop in the fire fighting main.
Fire pumps are needed when the local municipal water system cannot
provide sufficient pressure to meet the hydraulic design
requirements of the fire sprinkler system. This usually occurs if
the building is very tall, such as in high-rise buildings, or in
systems that require a relatively high terminal pressure at the
fire sprinkler in order to provide a large volume of water, such as
in storage warehouses. Fire pumps are also needed if fire
protection water supply is provided from a ground level water
storage tank.
Types of pumps used for fire service include: horizontal split
case, vertical split case, vertical inline, vertical turbine, and
end suction.
Chose for skid package fire pump solution it means reduce engineering and installation costs. All components meet or exceed applicable North American and International codes and standards. You can specify electric or diesel power, single or dual drive and a simple skid with or without housing enclosures.
NM also offers as well a fully UL listed and FM approved package Pumps depending on the needs of the client and the requirements of the insurance company.
All Fire Pumps and Fire Pump Packages are engineered to meet, or exceed, all applicable codes, including: UL listed and ULC listed, FM approvals NFPA and all NFPA-20 standards.

UL certification represents the world's highest technical standards
of fire certification, but also means that certified fire products
must withstand the most extreme, harsh test process, the purpose of
certification designed to verify whether the product meets the
performance, safety and quality requirements,so as to achieve the
purpose of property protection.
NM fire obtained fire diesel engine UL1247 and fire pump UL448
witnessed laboratory accreditation, fully proved that the company in
terms of hardware and software strength, are to meet the strict
