MPO-MPO-OS2-24B is MPO to MPO Female, OS2 Singlemode, 24 Fiber, Type B cable available in length from 1 meter to 50 meters. This MPO to MPO cable use 9/125 micron Singlemode fiber with cable jacket diameter of 3 mm. Cable jacket material is available in two options – Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) or Optical Fiber Nonconductive Plenum (OFNP). The LSZH cable jacket ensures lower smoke and zero smoke characteristics, but OFNP cables have fire-resistance and low smoke production characteristics. OFNP is the highest fire rating fiber cable and no other cable types can be used as substitutes. MPO to MPO cable supports 1310nm and 1610nm wavelengts, and it`s attenuation at 1310nm is 0.35dB/km and at 1610nm is 0.22dB/km which ensures best performance at long distances. MPO to MPO cable guarantees the best standard grade insertion loss which is below 0.7dB. Operating temperature is rated to -20C to +70C which suits wide range of environments. MPO-MPO-OS2-24B MPO to MPO cable is manufactured with Type B crossover configuration to support transceiver to transceiver or transceiver to patch panel high speed 100G Data Center applications.

MPO-MPO-OS2-24B patch cable is CE/RoHS certified and is compliant with product safety standards. MPO to MPO cable is fully compliant to ISO/IEC-61754, EN 50399 and EN 50575 specification. Consequently, compliance to above standards guarantees that MPO to MPO cable is intermateable with other manufacturer equipment (cables, cassetes, adapters). And as well ensures that cable jacket fully meets its material properties.

Choose Your Polarity

Type A - Straight: Straight-through polarity is typically for connecting patch panels. They are wired in a mirrored configuration, going from Pin 1 on one connector end to Pin 1 on the opposite end, etc.

Type B - Rollover: Rollover polarity is used primarily for connecting to switches and transceivers in 40Gb applications. In a 12-strand rollover polarity, the cable is wired from Pin 1 on one connector end to Pin 12 on the opposite end. Then 2 to 11, and so forth.

Type C - Flipped: Pair-Flipped polarity is the most commonly used polarity type for this cable, and typically used in cassette-to-cassette applications. Pin 1 on one end goes to Pin 2 on the opposite end, and 2 to 1, 3 to 4, 4 to 3, and so on. This is the default polarity option, but you can select your desired polarity from our drop-down menu above.
