Detailed Description:
FAST Connectors are factory pre-polished, field installable
connectors that completely eliminate the need for hand polishing in
the field. Proven mechanical splice technology ensuring precision
fiber alignment, a factory pre-cleaved fiber stub and a proprietary
index-matching gel combine to offer an immediate low loss
termination to either single-mode or multimode optical fibers.
FAST Connectors are compatible with 2m, 3mm, and 2.0 * 3.0mm
cordage. Each connector is color coded per industry-standard
requirements to aide in identification during and after
installation.
The cold-welded hot-melt type fast connector is the same as the
fiber-optic weld, but its weld point is inside the end of the
connector, which is equivalent to the hot-melt to save the tail
cable of the tail fiber. Compared with the mechanical fast
connector, the utility model fast connector can improve the service
life of the relay contacts and reduce the maintenance cost. We
cooperate with Keelung, the first manufacturer of fiber-optic
splicing machine in China, and apply KL-300F to the design of fast
hot-melt fiber-to-home FTTH splicing connector according to the
characteristics of KL-300F, thus saving V-groove mechanical
connector maintenance, construction costs, and durability,
overturning the usually expensive splicing machine and not suitable
for FTTH construction. Concept.
