Angular Contact bearings are designed to accommodate a combination of both radial and axial loads.

The ratio of radial to axial load capacity is achieved by varying the contact angle of the bearing.

For most appliexcavatorion requirements one of two contact angles will usually suffice 40 degree and 20 degree.

The most popular angular contact bearings are the 40 degree 7200B and 7300B series.
