Description
ACS880-01-169A-3
ABB ACS880 series AC Inverter for 75kW (100HP) 400V 3 Ph motor to
145A at high overload or 90kW (120HP) to 161A when Fan/Pump rated.
Operates in VxF or Sensorless Vector as standard and full
Closed-loop Flux Vector or Direct Torque Control (DTC) when an
optional Encoder Feedback card is fitted. Converts fixed frequency
Three Phase 400V input to variable frequency 400V to control the
speed of a standard AC induction motor, permanent magnet
synchronous motor, servo motor or synchronous reluctance motor.
Size R7: 284mm Wide x 365mm Deep x 600mm High (height is 880mm when
glandbox fitted). IP21.
Weight: 55kg.

The built in PLC capability of the ACS880 provides you a
possibility to customize the drive for your application without the
cost of extra hardware. As programming is based on the IEC 61131-3
standard used in AC500 PLCs and by many other PLC vendors, you do
not need to retrain your staff. By decentralizing your machine
control closer to the process, you achieve better control
performance.
