1.2714 Special tool steel, it's a type of steel used for mold making.

1.2714 special tool steel is improved on the basis of 1.2344 steel. The advantages of 1.2344 are retained, and better heat crack resistance is achieved.

1. 2714 has good toughness, ductility and crack resistance. Added chromium can improve the fatigue resistance of the mold and toughness of chromium.

1.2714 is the steel with high Cr content, high hardenability, martensite can be obtained by air-cooling quenching, suitable for large-scale, complex structure, precision, long life requirements of the die-casting mold, high-performance die-casting mold Die and so on.

Purity: According to ASTM E45 Method A, A Sulfide ≤0.5, B Oxide, C Silicate and D-Spherical Oxide each ≤1 or DIN 50602-K1 ≤10 or on request.

Steel factory state: soft annealing, hardness up to 248HB.

Operating status: 36-52HRC.
