Forged steel intermediate roll is mainly used in high-precision six-roll rolling mill(part of eight-roll rolling mill), which is named because it is located between working roll and back-up roll.
Main function of forged steel intermediate roll is to control the strip shape in rolling process. According to the requirements of different hardening depth, material such as 2% Cr, 3% Cr,5% Cr and semi-high speed steel (SSH) can be used.
