WHY USE COLD SHRINK?
While heat shrink tubing is the most common choice in cable splicing and connector coverage, there are often situations where it is impractical, unsafe, or simply impossible to use heat shrink. When applying shrink tube in volatile environments where the introduction of heat may be dangerous, cold shrink tubing offers all the benefits of heat shrink tubing but without the need to introduce heat. This allows our clients seal and cover cables, connectors and pipes in a safe manner.

A perfect application for cold shrink tubing would be covering high-voltage cables for mining equipment. Adding heat or a flame to this type of environment could lead to the ignition of an unknown flammable gas. Using cold shrink in this application can save lives. Cold shrink tubing can also be used for covering and insulating underwater oil pipes. Our cold shrink sealing kits can be used for sealing of coax cables with connectors. Sunbow manufactures two types of cold shrink that may be used for these tough applications.

It provides security for domestic and foreign home appliance supplier in Chinese mainland market. Till now, we are the only one fiberglass sleeving manufacturer which obtained UL, CSA, and CQC certificates. Also we are the only one manufacturer which can provide certificates for all color and maximum size range (from 0.55mm to 25.4mm). Also all our products are in conformance with the European RoHS requirements, furthermore, based on European new requirements, we re-applied and obtained German PFOA and PFOS certificates and European Reach report.
