SC APC Fiber Optic Fast Connector Quick Connector For FTTx Field
Installable
SC/APC fiber optic fast onnectors are pre-polished, field
installable connectors that eliminate the need for hand polishing
in the field. Optical fiber fast connectors provide an immediate
termination to either singlemode or multimode fibers and are
color-coded for ease of fiber identification. Connectors for Laser
Optimized 50um (10G) fibers are also available.
SC/APC fiber optic fat connectors feature a pre-stubbed
factory-polished ferrule that couples to the fiber being
terminated. Precision mechanical alignment insures low loss with a
proprietary gel. No special assembly tools required!
Fast connectors make fiber terminations fast, easy and reliable.
These fiber optic connectors offer terminations without any hassles
and require no epoxy, no polishing, no splicing, no heating and can
achieve similar excellent transmission parameters as standard
polishing and splicing technology. Assembly of the quickly assembly
fiber connector requires only normal fiber preparation tools, no
electrical power supply is needed.
