SC / APC Fiber Optic Pigtail Corning Fiber SM Hytrel Low Insertion Loss ODF

Pigtail is a short section of fiber-optic cable in the coating, one side factory terminated connector, on the other side exposed fiber. Pigtails can be stripped and fusion spliced to fibers of the distribution cable, thus avoiding the process of connectors terminating.

Pigtails are used for splice applications when terminating outside plant cable. All of pigtails are factory inspected and tested, with available interferometer data upon request.

All patch cords have an identification label and have a unique serial number assigned to them. On each of these labels the part number, serial number, and the length of the pigtails are displayed for easy product recognition and traceability.
