Indication:
Infections caused by sepsis, urinary tract and respiratory tract.
Usage and Dosage:
Intramuscular injection: 10-15mg/kg body weight for livestock,
twice a day for 3 to 5 days.
Precautions:
(1)Streptomycin has cross anaphylaxis with other amino glucosides,
so it’s prohibited to use on animals
allergic to aminoglycosides.
(2)Use with caution on subjects having dehydration (may increase
drug concentration in blood) or renal
dysfunction issues.
(3)When used for the treatment of infection of urinary tract, it is
better to take orally sodium bicarbonate to
make the urine alkaline.
Withdrawal Period:
28 days, 7 days of milk discarding.
