Size: 12mm to 20mm Spring Steel Round Bar (60Si2Cr/MnA)
The system for ribbed plates.
Easy-to-install, efficient and maintenance-free.
Pre-assembly
The mechanised, fully automatic installation of sleepers in the
track is the most efficient and most cost-effective method of
installation. For this reason, all the fastening components of the
System KS can be captively pre-assembled on the sleeper at the
sleeper factory.
Rail tightening
The rail is permanently tensioned with a long elastic spring
deflection by means of the spring-actuation of the two spring arms
of the tension clamp, whereby the fastening normally requires no
maintenance.
Protection against tilting
The tilting movements of the rail are resiliently absorbed by the
middle bend of the tension clamp.
Neutralisation
No fastening elements have to be removed from the sleeper with
continuous welding of the rail (CWR). The T-head bolts merely have
to be loosened but not disassembled.
System components
The tension clamp Skl 12 replaces the K-clip and double coiled
spring washer in the old System K and makes the ribbed plate system
practically maintenance-free as a result of the high creep
resistance and protection against tilting of the rail. The tension
clamp Skl 12 can be used in the standard gauge railways with a rail
pad stiffness ≥ 200 kN/mm. The Skl 19 is used for bottlenecks.
Special solutions
The tension clamp Skl B 12 is available for bridge structures and
other requirements with a reduced creep resistance
(approx. 7 kN).
