Gabion baskets are rectangular cages made of hexagonal double-twisted wire mesh. They are filled with appropriately sized rock or quarry stone. The wire used is mild and tensile steel wire.

PE coated gabion is wire made of hexagonal wire netting coated polyethylene.Wire diameter varies with

the hexagonal nettings.For hexagonal wire netting with no pe coating, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm

to 4.0mm.For those pe coated hexagonal wire netting, the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 5.0mm.
