1. 100% Nylon hook dots.
2. Carpet Markers, like all competitor products, do not adhere to ALL carpet types.(Check your rug for spot compatibility by using a 3 to 5 inch piece of hook loop.Separate both sides of the hook loop and use the rough side only. Place the rough side facing down onto the rug pressing it down firmly. Slowly pull the hook loop upwards toward you and off the rug. The rug is Spots compatible if the hook loop had to be peeled/pulled off the rug and an audible sound of hook loop being pulled apart was heard during the removal. The rug is not Spots compatible if the hook loop didn't grab onto the rug, it lifted easily and no audible sound of hook loop being pulled apart was heard.)
