0.8mm Thermal Insulation Materials Break Twill Silver Coated Silica Cloth
Aluminium foil coated high silica cloth is coating on silica cloth
which is with acid treatment and calcination with the silver color
aluminium foil coating. High silica cloth is made of fiber glass
cloth and it has more than 96% SiO2 because of the post treatment.
Meanwhile the melting point of this silica cloth is also higher a
lot than before by acid treatment and calcination. 600gsm high
silica cloth can be used below 800℃ continuously. However, it can
be used under 1200℃ in short time. The aluminium foil coating can
withstand 260 to 300℃. Except for fire resistance, the coating can
also reflect most heat. It is an ideal material for heat
insulation.
The base fabric is 600g/m2 high silica cloth. Including silver
coating 100g/m2 on its single side, total weight per square meter
will be 700g. Then final thickness is 0.8mm. Yarn count per
centimeters is 18/13. High silica cloth is woven in 8 harness satin
weaving. In this pattern, there is a weft yarn floats over seven
warp yarns and under one warp. In fact satin weave is a very stable
weave.
