Using CNC spring coiling machines, we can produce custom extension springs with wire diameters from 0.08mm to 35mm in the way of cold wounding and hot wounding.

Most extension springs are wound with initial tension. This is an internal force that holds the extension spring's coils together. The measure of the initial tension is the load necessary to overcome the internal force and begin coil separation. Unlike a compression spring that has zero load at zero deflection, an extension spring can have a reload at zero deflection . This built-in load, called initial tension, can be varied within limits, decreasing as the spring index increases.

Our extension springs are available with different end configurations to facilitate the attachment to components being acted upon. End configurations that we offer include full loop,machine hook,coned end with swivel hook or bolt,crossover hook and custom shaped hook.
