Functional Features:
If the switch is set, the positive and negative electrodes need to be directly connected to the battery, and the ignition signal is cut off. (If you set the timing, you need to keep the machine powered)
note:
1. Use a DC power supply for the recorder. When connecting the
power supply, pay attention to the positive and negative polarity
of the power supply.
2. The recording input voltage range is 10-36V. Do not connect the
power supply beyond this range. Too low a voltage will cause the
VCR to not work properly, and high voltage will damage the VCR.
3. It is recommended to connect the recorder directly to the
battery power output of the car. Please note that do not pick up
the power output of the generator on the vehicle, because the
generator may generate instantaneous high voltage during startup
and damage the recorder.
4. After the video camera is connected to the camera, the startup
power exceeds 30 watts (power consumption varies depending on the
external device). The power supply must be able to provide more
than 30 watts of power.
5. All power connections to the recorder must be sufficiently thick
to withstand more than 60 watts of power. (For example, when the
onboard power supply output voltage is 12V, the power cord must be
able to withstand more than 5 amps of current)
6. It is recommended to wear a wear-resistant, heat-resistant,
waterproof, and oil-resistant casing on the outside of the power
cord. Because of long-term vibration on the vehicle, it can cause
short circuit or open circuit due to friction.
7. The power cord is located near the positive end of the power
output on the vehicle. A 10 amp fuse box is required. In case of a
short circuit in the power line, the power on the car will be
burned.
Q: What should I do when the product has problems that I cannot
handle?
A: Record product model and software version number, submit
detailed problem description to our technical support engineer for
analysis.
The more detailed you describe, the more convenient our analysis
will be.
Q: What if the car host device does not have video output?
A: 1. Check the boot status of the host. Check the device input
power, check the power line wiring is correct, whether the ground
wire back to the battery, the power line insurance is intact; at
the same time check the host power supply red and yellow line is
normal, if only one line power supply, then the host Can't start
it.
2. Check if the display is powered and if the display video
switches to AV and the corresponding channel status.
3. Check the connection status of the host video output cable and
the monitor.
Q: The host is always restarted
A:1. Check if the voltage of the device is insufficient and the
starting voltage of the device has not been reached, causing the
device to restart;
2. If the hard disk or SD card is faulty, the device may not start
up. Remove the storage device and turn it on again to determine
whether the storage device is faulty.
Q: What should I do when the host's video input interface and
camera input interface are different?
A: The car host uses a 4-pin connector and the camera is a BNC
connector or aerial head. If they are not the same, use an adapter
to connect, or define a standard docking line with the vehicle host
sequence.
Q: The device is turned on, and the hard disk is also installed,
but what should I do if it is not recorded?
A: 1. Check if the HDD/SD is formatted after installation.
Unformatted HDD/SD cannot be used. Go to Main Menu - System
Settings - Format to format the newly installed HDD/SD.
2. Whether the recording channel is closed or not, whether the
scheduled recording is set, and no recording is performed within
the recording period.
3. Check that the hard disk is in good contact and the front panel
HDD/SD lamp is lit.
Q: The video file is missing, or there is no video file in a
certain period of time?
A:1. By determining the time period determined in the first video
file after the final video file is lost and restored.
2. Confirm whether the host has not booted during that period of
time. For example, the host that stops parking, loading, unloading,
etc. does not set a time-lapse recording.
GPS related issues
Q: GPS module exists but no coordinate information?
A: 1. Check if the GPS module is present.
2. Confirm whether the GPS antenna contact is good and whether the
antenna is disconnected. It is recommended to place it in a place
where the signal is strong.
Vehicle glass shielding will block the GPS signal.
3. If it is tested in the room, the GPS antenna is in the room and
the signal is shielded. It is recommended to place the GPS antenna
outdoors.
4. The impact of the surrounding environment such as trees,
tunnels, driving around high buildings and elevated roads,
thunderstorms, etc., may result in no signal of GPS, or receive a
wrong signal.
Q: Is there a difference in GPS location on the map?
A: If the GPS module has been located, it means that the signal is
valid. There are many reasons for the problem of deviation.
Government restrictions, error tolerances, GPS signal
interruptions, etc.; actual satellite maps may deviate due to
safety considerations. General maps can be solved using GPS
calibration. problem.
Other related issues
Q: Some channels have a black screen?
A: The black screen of certain channels is found on the monitor
screen. The possible causes are as follows:
There is no video connection on this channel; the camera connected
to this channel is damaged or abnormally working; if the power of
the camera is taken from the device, the voltage provided by the
device may be insufficient; the cable connecting this channel is
not in good contact or damaged;
Q: Can't play back video files when playing back on a PC?
A: The possible causes are as follows: No video file path or video
file is selected. Please select the path of the video file before
playback; the local video file is corrupted, resulting in
unreadable;
Q: Can't remote control be remote?
A: The possible causes are as follows: The remote controller is not
equipped with a battery; the remote controller is damaged; the
device is malfunctioning;
Q: What is the video coverage when SD card and HD video are
recorded?
A: The SD card and the hard disk are each cycled. When the SD card
and the hard disk are full, the original video in the respective
disk is deleted.
