Ball Mill Application:

Ball Mill is widely used for the dry or wet grinding of all kinds of ores and other grindable materials in the production industries of kaolin, quartz, feldspar, cement, silicate product, new building material, refractory, fertilizer, ferrous metal, non-ferrous metals and glass ceramic industry. etc.

Ball Mill Structure:

Ball mill main parts : feeding part, discharging part, ball mill cylinder, transmission (reducer, gear, pinion, electric motor and electric control) and other major parts.

It consists of a hollow cylindrical shell rotating about its axis. The axis of the shell may be either horizontal or at a small angle to the horizontal. It is partially filled with balls. The grinding media are the balls, which may be made of steel (chrome steel), stainless steel, ceramic, or rubber. The inner surface of the cylindrical shell is usually lined with an abrasion-resistant material such as manganese steel or rubber.
