Center Enamel provides anaerobic digestion (AD) tank solutions to customers around the world. Our Stainless Steelanaerobic digestion (AD) tank are used in medium temperature digesters, thermophilic digesters, pasteurizers and enhanced enzymatic hydrolysis (EEH) digesters as well as a variety of other processes and applications.

Specially grown crops, such as corn and cane sugar and crop residues from palm oil production, as well as animal, municipal, commercial and other industrial process wastes, are used as typical feedstocks for AD plants. Some of it was burned or sent to landfill before AD was developed.

With the co-digestion of municipal sludge effluent and farm waste such as animal manure or mud, an increasing number of combinations of waste streams are processed to generate "green" renewable energy. In the industrial sector, the use of AD to generate biogas is a valuable process for generating renewable energy from waste streams.

The cleaned biogas produced by AD can be introduced directly into the grid, or if not, it can be converted into electricity by a generator combined with a combined heat and power (CHP) gas engine. There are also opportunities to generate thermal energy in the form of hot water, for example for industrial process applications or for use in community heating networks.
