Platinum Rhodium Assembling Type Thermocouple is widely used in production places with high temperature. It is mainly used to measure temperature in glass and ceramic industry and industrial salting furnace.

Thermocouples are widely used in science and industry; applications include: temperature measurement for kilns, gas turbine exhaust, diesel engines, and other industrial processes. Thermocouples are also used in homes, offices and businesses as the temperature sensors in thermostats, and also as flame sensors in safety devices for gas-powered major appliances.

Platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 6 thermocouple (type B thermocouple) is a precious metal thermocouple.Its composition of the positive electrode (BP) is platinum-rhodium alloy, including 30% rhodium and 70% platinum, and the negative electrode (BN) is platinum-rhodium alloy and 6% rhodium, so it is commonly known as double platinum-rhodium thermocouple.

The thermocouple long-term maximum temperature of 1600 ℃, the highest short-term using temperature is 1800 ℃.
