The meter has an internal ball valve driven by low energy motor and therefore is able to shut off when water credit runs out or tamper is detected. The battery lasts three years and can be replaced by authorized staff. CA568 series assure you of continuously good metrology and revenue protection at the same time. It is durable and long lasting and provides accurate meter data.
CA568 operates with a split keypad called CIU ( customer interface keypad) which is mounted within customer's house and connect with the meter via radio. Customer can input top-up token codes and toggle up information mode on CIU. This design of mechanism greatly reduce the risk of tamper. As whatever CIU is messed, no damage or influence will be passed to the meter.
