• The on/off switch is covered with a rubber cap and the unit seems to be able to withstand normal moist and rainy days, though it is not waterproof.
• Casing is black coated aluminium with criss-crossings on the handle, giving it a nice feel and grip when handling it.
• Glass in front of diodes is plastic, which has a lower weight than glass and can withstand as much as glass, probably even better when you accidentally drop it since it won't shatter or break like glass unless dropped directly on something sharp.
