Water treatment
Reverse osmosis is the most advanced and effective desalting
technology. The principle is that under the higher pressure more
than the dissolved solution osmotic pressure. Only follow water
molecules through the reverse osmosis membrane. Then the solute and
solvent separated, thereby getting the purified water. The fine
particles, colloid, organic matter, bacteria, virus and 99%the
dissolved salt can be removed by the water quality stability etc.
already widely used in electronic, electrical, pharmaceutical, food
and other fields.
Reverse Osmosis
reverse osmosis process uses semi permeable spiral wound membranes
to separate and remove dissolved solids, organic, pyrogens, sub
micron colloidal matter and bacteria from water. Feed water is
delivered under a pressure of approximately 16 kg/cm2 through
reverse osmosis membranes. Water permeates the minute pores of the
membrane and is delivered as purified water. Impurities in the
water are concentrated in the reject stream and flushed to drain.
Reverse osmosis is capable of removing 90-99% of total dissolved
solids (TDS), 99% of organic, including pyrogens, and 99% of all
bacteria in the feed water.
What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse osmosis (R/O) is a water treatment process in which water
is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that has very small
holes or "pores". Clean water passes through and impurities that
are too big to pass through the membrane are left behind and
flushed away. In a word, it is a machine to make pure/ultra pure
water.

How Does Reverse Osmosis Work?
Reverse osmosis systems purify water by forcing pressurized water
through a very fine, plastic membrane. If the raw water being
treated comes from a well or another private source, disinfection
and pre-filters (to remove chlorine and/or particulates/sediment)
may be needed in advance of the R/O unit to remove contaminants
that can foul or damage the membrane.
How Do I Know What Size Unit to Buy?
R/O units are rated according to the amount of treated water
produced per day. For example, one type of unit produces 5000
liters of treated water per day under its design conditions. You
should examine water conditions and buy a larger rated unit than
needed.
Material of reverse osmosis system?
We have different materials. 1. Fiber glass(FRP) filter + U-PVC
pipe 2. stainless steel filter + U-PVC pipe 3. total stainless
steel.
Stainless steel we also have SS304 and SS316. You can choose suitable material.
