Our testing equipment can do a few things: First, it performs the abrupt pull test (UL 817 clauses 99.1~99.2). This test checks if the cord can handle a sudden yank. Then, it conducts the jacket retention test (UL 817 clauses 100.1~100.3), which sees if the outer layer of the cord stays put. Lastly, it does the flexing test (UL 817 clauses 96.1~96.5) to make sure the cord can bend without getting damaged.
