About Inconel 738 Alloy

Inconel 738 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-base alloy with superior corrosion resistance and high temperature creep-rupture strength. IN-738 is used in gas turbine blades and other high-temperature industrial applications. American Elements manufactures Inconel 738 in varying compositions and forms such as powder, plate, rod, wire, and sputtering target. We offer standard sizes and shapes in addition to manufacturing unique custom alloys which are tailored to customer requirements. Bulk quantities and term contracts are available for all of our alloy materials. Please contact us with your specifications to receive a quote for materials.

Inconel™ 738 offers a combination of outstanding high-heat creep-rupture strength and corrosion resistance better than many high-strength superalloys with lower chromium content. Inconel 738 is a nickel-based alloy, vacuum-cast and precipitation-hardened, offering exceptional mechanical properties to 1800°F (982°C). IN-738 holds up to the hot corrosive environments found in the turbine industry.
