AVR is a voltage regulator for synchronous alternators designed for independent operation and calibration; To maximize performance, the regulator should be part of a system consisting of at least three components :AVR DER1 regulator (control unit), communiCAT-parts-partsion module (e.g. USB2DxR) and monitoring unit,
DER series AVRs are available in two versions, DER 1 and DER 1/A; DER1 AVR is optimized for series 3 to 38 generators, and DER1/A AVR is optimized for series 40, 43, and 46 generators; The main difference between the two versions is the default parameters. Note: The parameter that defines the output voltage (VOLT trimmer disabled) is set to 0(so that adjustments occur at the minimum voltage).
