NYLON LOCKOUT HASP

1. Material: non-conductive nylon.
2. Allow six or eight workers to lock out a single energy source.

HASP:the lockout hasp is placed through the isolating point and each person carrying out maintenance or service work attaches , and locks in place their own unique individually keyed padlock through the lockout hasp. This ensures each worker’s safety as the energy cannot be restored until the work is finished and all padlock have been removed.

Lockout is the use of a lock to render machinery or equipment inoperable or to isolate an energy source. The purpose is to establish “zero energy”. This is where all source of energy including electrical,pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and stored energy are isolated so that they pose no danger.
