ASTM A358 CL1 Stainless Steel Welded Pipe
ASTM A358 CL1 is a specification for electric-fusion-welded
austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel pipe suitable for
corrosive or high-temperature service. This specification covers
pipes in sizes ranging from 8 inches to 24 inches in outside
diameter, with wall thicknesses from 0.188 inches to 0.375 inches.
The material grades covered by ASTM A358 CL1 include types 304,
304L, 316, and 316L stainless steels. These grades are commonly
used in applications where corrosion resistance and
high-temperature strength are required, such as in chemical
processing, food processing, and power generation industries.
