ASME SA179 this specification covers minimum-wall thickness,
seamless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes for tubular, heat
exchanger,
condensers, and other heat transfer services. SA 179 carbon steel
tube is supplied and produced by cold drawning method and it is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, medical,
food, light industry, machinery, instrument, include industrial
pipeline and mechanical structure parts, etc.
U tubes are manufactured by bending straight tubes. Bending is done
cold on an automatic U-bend. To ensure tube wall thinning and
diameter ovality are controlled, tube bending is accomplished with
a mandrel inserted into the tube. What's more, the U-bend of the
U-tube is stress relieved under controlled conditions and cycles
for extended life.
