Overview:
ASTM A312 TP 321/321H Tubes is titanium stabilize austenitic stainless steel with good quality specific corrosion resistance. It has exceptional resistance to intergranular oxidization after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide rainfall range of 800-1500°F (427-816°C). The alloy resists decay to 1500°F (816°C) and has elevated creep and stress break properties than alloys 304 and 304H. It also possesses good low-temperature toughness. It cannot be toughened by heat treatment, only by cold working. It can be without difficulty welded and processed by standard shop fabrication practices.
It exhibits high-quality general corrosion opposition that is
comparable to 304. It was industrial for use in the chromium
carbide rainfall range of 1800-1500°F (427-816°C) somewhere
un-stabilized alloys such as 304 are subject to intergranular
attack. The alloy can be used to having to dilute organic acids at
restrained temperatures and in pure phosphoric acid at lesser
temperatures and up to 10% weak solutions at elevated temperatures.
