EN 10216-5 Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes is considered for pressure
purposes. This feature of the stainless steel seamless tube is
important because this type of tube is constantly put to use where
extreme conditions prevail and where ety of people and the
trouble-free operation of plant and equipment must be ensured. It
is made to resist the greatest heat and the highest pressure and it
is unaffected by acids and is corrosion resistant.
EN 10216-5 Stainless Steel Pipe or tube can pass through more than 100
production steps before taking its final form and quality. It is
used in sewage disposal and water supply which has to withstand
high internal and external pressures.
DIN EN 10216-5 High Precision tubes are available as thin wall tubes in seamless
or welded redrawn condition or as seamless thick wall tubes. It has
coating options for many different conditions and processes. It
provides weight savings, corrosion resistance, narrow tolerances or
low processing costs. The strength of precision tubing ranges from
E190 up to DP980. It enables you to find the best steel grade and
type for your purposes. It has tight tolerances and high surface
quality in combination with extreme bend ability. It is most
effective in environmental and economical way of protecting steel
against corrosion.
DIN EN 10216-5 Cold drawn Tubes are made by cold drawing a larger seamless tube,
which is usually manufactured through a HFS process. In the CDS
process, the mother tube is pulled through a die & plug in cold
without any heating. Due to the tool on outside and inside the
surface and tolerances becomes better. It provides high
strength-to-weight ratio and can be processed to provide a
combination of good surface quality, dimensional accuracy, good
machinability, excellent micro-structure uniformity and high
tensile properties. It well suited for such post-treatments as
carburizing and heat treating.
