Ergonomic:

Our ballistic helmet could be convenient to wear, adjust and remove with ease even with gloved hands. It's provided with a multi-point chinstrap with cotton chin cap.

Shape:

Our ballistic helmet adequately covers the neck and ears of the wearer and its design is on the lines of the US personal Armour System Ground Troops (PASGT). The shape of the helmet facilitates the use of handsets of in-service communication equipment. Helmet desirably has provision to mount a display system, hands free communication equipment and fix electro – optical devices as and when required

Surface Finish and Camouflage:

The proposal helmet is of crinkle matt finish in Olive Green/Black/Blue/Camo colours.

Protection:

The ballistic Helmet could be able to defeat 5 rounds of 9mm ammunition. The deformation in the helmet is small, the min gap necessary between the harness and inner surface of the helmet.

Climatic Condition:

The helmet could withstand repeated and sustained exposure to kinds of climatic conditions.

Use of Optical Instruments:

The design of our helmet does not obstruct the use of binoculars (day and night) or optical sights fitted on the weapons, range finders and Artillery optical instrument like director etc.

Compatibility:

The design of our helmet preferably is compatible to wear along with respirators and chemical hoods. This may be considered as a desirable feature for subsequent improvement and development

Ability to absorb IR Radiation:

Our helmet could be able to absorb 60 to 100 percent IR Radiation from an active IR source without reflecting any such radiations

Comfort :

Our helmet won't cause any-undue discomfort even after prolonged wearing by an individual for few hours.

Inner lining / harness:

Our helmet would be provided with harness which could be adjustable to head size. The minimum distance between the harness and the inner surface of the helmet is around 1cm. It's comfortable to wear and ensure air circulation

Chin Strap :

Adjustable chin strap with multi point support must be provided. The material of

the chinstrap is suitable to weather conditions and is rugged enough to withstand rough handling in the field. The buckle of the chinstrap is easy to engage / disengage and its position on the cheek won't hinder aiming during firing. The material of the buckle is harmless to skin in all types of climate temperatures.
