The input motor is usually defined with a step angle or step number parameter. The general motor is divided into 200 steps, that is, the step angle is 1.8 degrees. EasyDriver has a step subdivision function. The subdivision of this driver board is 8 subdivisions, that is, each step of the motor is subdivided into 8 small steps, so that more precise control can be obtained, that is to say, EasyDriver needs 1600 steps to complete a complete 360-degree rotation.
1. ms1 and ms2 are the logic input ports for stepping motor
subdivision resolution selection;
2. dir is the selection port of the motor running direction;
3. reset is used to reset the initial value of the chip and shield
all external outputs;
4.step is the pulse input port;
5.out1a, out1b, out2a, out2b are two pairs of output ports of
h-bridge;
6.enable is the enable terminal;
7.sleep is the sleep mode;
8. sense1 and sense2 are current detection resistors of h-bridge;
9. ref is the reference voltage;
10. gnd is logic ground and power ground;
rc1 and rc2 are analog input of fixed cut-off time of h-bridge.
a3967slb is a special driver for pwm constant current control
microstepping two-phase stepper motor produced by American allegro
company. It can work up to 30v, drive current up to 750ma, a
a3967slb can drive a two-phase stepper motor, can achieve 8
subdivision drive. The pwm current control circuit inside the chip
can be set to three slow, fast and mixed current decay modes by the
voltage applied to pfd. If the voltage at the pfd terminal is
higher than 0.6vdd, the slow decay mode is selected. If it is lower
than 0.21vdd, select fast decay mode. Between the two is mixed
attenuation mode. In addition, a3967slb can also provide
comprehensive protection measures, including suppressing transient
voltage, overheating protection, preventing current through,
undervoltage self-locking and other functions.
There is no need to add other interface circuits between a3967slb
and the microprocessor, the chip adopts easystepper
The interface reduces the 8 control lines by 2 (step length and
direction). As long as the pulse for controlling the stepper motor
is simply input, the built-in converter can control the stepper
motor.
a3967slb also needs some resistance and capacitance to adjust its
working parameters, the whole driving circuit is very simple
