An enhancement over the H4, is the new 1500v solar connector ratcheting gland back nut, which prevents backspin once the nut is tightened. The amount and characteristics of materials used to make the new 1500v solar connector have resulted in a more efficient and optimized design. By using gland nuts, environmental gaskets, wire-retention collets, and contacts that accept multiple wire gauges, part count goes down and cost-savings goes up. our new 1500v solar connector is the ideal choice for all PV modules and installations around the world.

Unplugging under load:PV plug connections must not be unplugged while under load.They can be placed in a no load state by switching off the DC/AC converter or breaking the AC circuit interrupter.Plugging and unplugging while under voltage is permitted

Disconnected connectors should be protected from dirt and water with sealing caps.
