CC2541 Serial Port 2.4G Wireless BLE4.0 Bluetooth Low Energy Module
What is it?
This BLE 4.0 module is based on the CC2541 chipset. It can be used to communicate with PC, Smartphones and even other embedded systems. It provides Bluetooth Smart aka Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with supported AT commands. You can modify the working mode (master or slave) and the serial port baud rate, name of equipment, matching parameters such as passwords, use agile, even the transmission power between - DBM, 23-6 DBM, 0 DBM, 6 DBM. There is tons of resources, demos of development material and tools are provide to help IOS and Android developers to develop BLE 4.0 related apps.

RF-BM-S01A is pin-compatible with the RF-BM-S01 in SMT package, if the USB is not used on the RF-BM-S01 and the I2C/extra I/O is not used on the RF-BM-S01A. Compared to the RF-BM-S01, the RF-BM-S01A provides lower RF current consumption. The RF-BM-S01A does not have the USB interface of the RF-BM-S01, and provides lower maximum output power in TX mode. The RF-BM-S01A also adds a HW I2C interface.
