Basic Product Properties
Araldite® 2022-1 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing methacrylate adhesive designed for rapid bonding of diverse substrates (including hard-to-bond materials). Its toughened formulation offers an optimal balance of pot life and curing speed, with low surface preparation requirements and gap-filling capability up to 4mm.
Product Description
Araldite® 2022-1 consists of Component A (off-white) and Component B (yellow), mixed at a 1:1 weight/volume ratio to form a light-yellow thixotropic paste. With ~10 minutes of pot life at 25°C and peak exotherm time of 15-30 minutes, it is ideal for rapid assembly. The adhesive excels in bonding dissimilar materials (e.g., metals like steel/aluminum and plastics like ABS/PVC) while balancing industrial efficiency and strength.
