The HIMatrix F2DO801 (also known as F2DO801) is a compact, safety-rated remote I/O module designed to

extend the output capabilities of HIMA HIMax or HIMatrix controllers. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure,

it provides 8 safety-related relay outputs for controlling actuators or valves using safeethernet communication.

The F2DO801 is a safety-related digital output module used to control actuators such as solenoids,

relays, or motor contactors in safety-critical systems. It connects to a HIMatrix controller and

provides 8 isolated relay outputs for remote actuation.

2. How many outputs does the module provide?

It offers 8 independent relay outputs, each capable of switching up to 250 V AC/DC at 3 A max.

3. Is the F2DO801 SIL-certified?

Yes. The module is certified for SIL 3 according to IEC 61508/61511 and SIL 4 for

railway applications under EN 50126/50128/50129. It also supports PL e / Category 4 per EN ISO 13849-1.

4. What type of communication interface does it use?

It supports SafeEthernet communication via 2 × RJ45 Ethernet ports (with integrated switch).

This allows integration into redundant or daisy-chained network topologies.
