Brass Wire Mesh/Brass Wire Cloth
Brass woven wire cloth is also called papermaking cloth. It is made
of 65% copper and 35% zinc.
Papermaking cloth is made of phosphor bronze wire in the wrap, which has outstanding tension stress, bending force, wear resistance and expansion force and brass wire in the weft, which has proper tension stress and extensibility. Mesh refers to the wire quantity per inch. The fewer mesh, the bigger aperture size and better water permeability.

Application of brass mesh and brass wire cloth
The brass woven wire cloth can be used in the paper making
industries for dewatering.
Can be used as the woven wire filter cloth for solid, liquid and
gas in the industries, chemical and lab.
Can be used in sieving diversified pellet, powder, porcelain clay and glass, filtering liquid and gas.
Features of brass mesh and brass wire cloth
1) Abrasion, corrosion, high temperature and spark resistance.
2) Acid, alkali resistance.
3) Durable, good ductility, tensile strength.
4) Allowing light, air, liquid to pass.
5) Discolor due to atmospheric condition.
6) Not suitable for salt water application.
7) Clean and install easily.
8) Brass mesh has lower electricity and heat conductivity but
better abrasion and corrosion resistance, better tensile strength
compared with copper mesh cloth.
