Our COM Series is our basic precision metal to metal offering within our line of spherical bearings used in non-rotational applications. This lower cost version is suitable for a wide variety of OEM and MRO applications requiring press fit installation on plate-mounted designs.

It features a steel (52100) ball that is thru hardened and hard chrome plated. Race is comprised of low carbon steel and oil coated after assembly. Our spherical bearing design ensures optimum ball to race conformity for prolonged wear life. A lubrication groove is provided on the raceway for applications requiring a grease zerk to be mounted into the housing. Optional PTFE lined race versions and custom sizes also available.

Phidix Motion Controls (PMC) started the business in 2004, originally as an international trading company-Shanghai Phidix Trading Co., Ltd (Headquarter of PMC), and became the only authorized Cable Assembler in China by the American based company Cablecraft Motion Controls (CMC) in 2011.

CMC was originally a subsidiary of Tuthill Group (more than 100 years history), headquartered in New Haven Indiana US and became independent in 2011. CMC can offer diverse high-end drive control products and engineering solutions. The product line includes control flexible shaft of the various specifications, cab units and a category range of standard parts, widely used in high-end industrial customer markets, such as luxury bus, heavy truck, aerospace, construction machinery, rail transportation, agricultural machinery, gardening equipment, racing cars, military vehicles, tanks etc. as selection of shift control, throttle cable, clutch cable, brake line, valve and other mechanical transmission controls.

Just after CMC became the independent group in 2011, PMC became the only authorized Assembler in China responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, sales, technical support, after-sales service of control items from CMC, acted as the multi-functional management and development center (PMDC) for the R&D of creative control technology, parts manufacturing, cable assembly and the import and export business as well.

Today, thousands of personalized products designed and produced by PMC in China are selling to all over the world.
