Ultrasonic amplitude transformer (ultrasonic amplitude
transformer), as the name suggests, is a functional component that
fits the ultrasonic transducer to change the amplitude of
ultrasonic vibration. Its main function is to change the amplitude
of the transducer (generally increasing), improve the ratio of
vibration and speed, improve the efficiency, improve the mechanical
quality factor, strengthen the heat resistance, expand the range of
temperature and prolong the service life of the transducer. The
ultrasonic transducer adjusts the load matching between the
transducer and the ultrasonic tool head through the installation of
the horn (ultrasonic amplitude transformer), reduces the resonant
impedance, and improves the efficiency of the electroacoustic
conversion at the resonant frequency, effectively reduces the
calorific value of the ultrasonic transducer and improves the
service life.
The performance expressions of different shape function horn are
complex and the computation workload is heavy. [1-2] can reduce the
workload of the actual design in a certain range, but the
theoretical basis of the software design is the expression of the
traditional design method, and the design size (or frequency),
displacement node, magnification factor, shape factor, and in the
rod of the rod are fully designed for the different shapes of the
horn or the composite rod. The stress and displacement distribution

easily designed, and the acoustic properties of the horn can be
studied more conveniently and more deeply with a unified
expression.
