Electrode cleaning and arc calibration

1 After the electrode is installed, turn on the fusion splicer power switch.

2 After the fusion splicer enters the initial screen, press the menu button to enter the first level menu.

3 Find the machine maintenance by moving the cursor, enter the cleaning electrode item, after confirmation, the machine will automatically

Discharge clean and age the electrode.

4 Install the cut left and right fiber, find the arc position item by moving the cursor, and make the light through operation.

The fiber end face and the tip of the two electrodes maintain a three-point line position, and the machine will perform a discharge test.

Adjustment

5 Finally, press the menu button to launch

Do not touch the tip of the electrode during the replacement process to prevent damage and avoid the electrode falling inside the machine.

Calibration of the arc position after electrode replacement

Replace the electrode method

1 First, you must confirm that the fusion splicer is in the off state, remove the protective cover of the electrode compartment, and loosen it.

Remove the upper electrode from the screw of the electrode; then loosen the top wire of the lower electrode and remove the lower electrode.

2 Secondly, install a new electrode. The operation steps are the opposite of the method of disassembling the electrode. want

Find the gap between the two electrode tips: 2.6 plus or minus 0.2 mm.

3 Finally, during the assembly process, the tip of the electrode should not be touched to prevent damage to the electrode and avoid the electrode

Dropped inside the machine and caused damage. After the electrode is replaced, the arc position should be calibrated.
