1. Product Description

LFS-MSP20 is a mini solar lantern with built-in LED lamp, reading light and extra Led bulb. It is especially design for rural villages lack of electricity, for home illumination, people's reading and camping at night. It has five levels rightness, and USB output to charge mobile phone. The lantern uses intelligent micro controller inside, has short-circuit, overcharge, over discharge protections

2.Specification

3. Operating Instructions:

a. Please fully charge the lantern before first use. Make sure the 4pcs battery indicators stop flashing to indicate full charge.

b. The switch is not only used to turn the lantern on and off, but also used to select the required brightness levels. Brightest Light will lower the lantern working time. On the other hand, Bed Light has longest working time, but it is too gloomy for reading books or home illumination. Therefore, it is very important to select suitable brightness

level according to your request and using situation.

c. Press the switch once to turn on the lantern, and 4pcs indicators start working.

d. Single press one after another to select brightness levels in sequence: Bright→Brighter→Brightest→ Reading light(1pc led)→Bed light. Only one brightness level at each time.

e. One more press after Bed Light to turn off the lantern, and 4pcs indicators stop working after 2 seconds automatically.

f. The lantern enters into low consumption state automatically when without load, all indicators extinguish. Its non-load consumption less than 0.2mA.

g. Insert the extra LED bulb cable to the USB socket, then turn on its individual switch to start lighting.

h. Insert the 10-in-1 mobile charger cable to the USB socket, will charge mobile phone automatically.

i. Solar panel cable has extra USB female connector, can charge mobile phone directly when solar panel is under direct sunshine at daytime.

4. Charging Instructions:

• Plug solar panel cable into lantern input socket.
• Expose solar panel to sunlight. Proper orientation without any shadow falling on the panels will optimize the charging current and will charge the battery at a quicker rate.
• Plug AC adaptor cable into lantern input socket, use AC electricity to charge. (Optional)
• The lantern can charge and discharge independently at the same time, but suggest to turn off it and not to connect any devices when being charged, so as to speed up charging time.

5. Solar Battery Indicators:

• When lantern battery is empty and under charging, all 4pcs battery indicators keep flashing one after another circularly. Then changes to 3pcs→2pcs→1pc indicators keep flashing; 1pc→2pcs→3pcs stay lighting always accordingly. When all 4pcs indicators on, to indicate battery is fully charged.
• All 4pcs indicators on, to show 100% power left. 3pcs indicators on means 75% power, 2pcs indicators on means 50% power. When only 1pc indicator on, the battery has low energy left and needs charging soon.
• When using lantern, if battery voltage lower than 5.5V, the lowest indicator starts flashing, but the built-in LED lamp can keep on working for a short time. When battery voltage lower than 5V, the built-in lamp stops working, and the lowest indicator keeps on flashing for 15 seconds, then extinguish automatically.
• When battery is empty, you can not turn on the lamp even press the switch, but the lowest indicator starts flashing for 2 seconds, then extinguish automatically.

6. For Best Performance:

• Place solar panel directly to sunlight to absorb enough sunshine.
• Keep solar panel surface clean always, and avoid scratching.
• Store solar panel indoor when not in use, to protect against thief or damage due to bad weather.
• Keep the lantern away from sunshine during charging, in order to increase charge rate and protect battery lifespan.

7. Battery Maintenance:

• Immediately charge the battery after completed discharging.
• Never leave the battery in an empty state.
• Recharge the battery every 2 months, even it is fully charged when stop using it.
• When replacing the battery, MUST use 6V sealed lead acid rechargeable battery, the same size.
