18" Screw Bowl Chemicals Treatment Liquid Solid Separation Centrifuge
Applications
The decanter is a continuously operating horizontal solid wall
centrifuge, which are special designed for oily waste water
treatment. Processing this oily waste water means separating it
into its main components of oil, water, and solids. The objective
is to recover as much oil as possible and to dispose of the other
components in an efficient way. Including oil and sewage sludge
treatment, recovery oil from lagoons and sedimentation ponds, as
well as recovery oil from residuals during tank cleaning.
WP centrifuges are applied in various oil recovery projects. Slope oil is a valuable but dangerous resource in oilfield, in order to mostly recover the oil, decanter centrifuge plays a key role while removing the impurity from the sludge. Apart from the slope oil, Contaminated Lubricating Oil and engine oil needs to have water and other impurities removed on a constant basis. It’s a reliable way to prevent symptoms of wear appearing on engine components and a drop in performance or even failures.
Decanter Centrifuge Applies in Chemical Plant
In the chemical production, the application of the centrifuge is particularly extensive. In the selection, the appropriate centrifuge should be selected according to different material characteristics and project requirements. For example, the solid-liquid separation of cooling water can be selected from a conventional decanter centrifuge; the solid-liquid separation of the neutralized slurry should be selected according to the specific solid phase content, particle size, and solid-liquid phase recovery requirements.
For the salt that needs to be washed, such as sodium chloride, choose a screw pusher centrifuge that does not break the solid phase particles. If it can meet the requirements of the project, you can use a higher-automatic horizontal screw sedimentation centrifuge. The choice of high speed, disc separation factor, tube centrifuge, etc., the effect may be counterproductive. In short, in the case where the solid phase requires washing, the washing effect of the solid phase of the centrifuge should be considered first. Magnesium mud treatment in the chlor-alkali industry, potassium chloride, mixed salt; PVC industry polyethylene, polypropylene, poly-wax resin, polyphenylene ether (PPO) and other treatments can be used horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuge.
The heavy liquid phase separated by the centrifuge can adopt two different liquid discharging modes, namely gravity discharging and discharging through the built-in centripetal pump with pressure, wherein the latter includes liquid layer fixed mode and the online adjustable mode of heavy phase liquid layer, which is selected according to the process conditions.
★ Separation performance (typical medium and high temperature coal tar) of coal tar three-phase centrifuge:
1. The centrifuge features high separation efficiency, compact structure, and continuous operation. The diameter of the separated particles can be reduced to 2 μm. The solid content (toluene insoluble matter) in the treated coke button is more than 45%, which can easily optimize the clarification of liquid and the dryness of solids.
2. Tar quality after separation: aqueous ammonia content: <2.5%; tar content: ≥97%; solid content (> 100 μm): <0.3%
3. After separation, the tar in the aqueous ammonia: ≤ 4g/L
Note: The aforementioned separation performances are based on coal tar temperature of 270°C.
