Molding Cycling Time for Vulcanizer:

  • The time required for the vulcanizing press to complete the molding process of the vulcanizer is called the molding cycle, also called the molding cycle. The molding cycle directly affects the labor rate and equipment utilization rate. Therefore, in the production process, the relevant time in the molding cycle should be shortened as much as possible under the premise of ensuring the quality. Vulcanization time and cooling time are of the utmost importance throughout the molding cycle and they have a decisive influence on the quality of the product. The filling time in the vulcanization time is directly inversely proportional to the filling rate, and the filling time in production is generally about 3 to 5 seconds.
  • The pressure holding time in the curing time of the vulcanizer is the pressure time of the plastic in the cavity, which accounts for a large proportion in the whole vulcanization time, generally about 20~120 seconds (the extra-thick parts can be as high as 5~10 minutes) . Before the melting of the melt at the gate, the amount of dwell time has an effect on the dimensional accuracy of the product. The holding time also has the best value, which is known to depend on the material temperature, the mold temperature, and the size of the main runners and gates. If the dimensions and process conditions of the main runners and gates are normal, it is usually the value of the pressure at which the range of fluctuation of the shrinkage of the product is the smallest. The cooling time is mainly determined by the thickness of the product, the thermal properties and crystallization properties of the plastic, and the temperature of the mold. The end point of the cooling time should be based on the principle of ensuring that the product does not cause changes during demolding, generally between 30 and 120 seconds. It is not necessary to cool the cooling time too much, which not only reduces the production efficiency, but also causes difficulty in demolding the complicated parts, and even releases the mold release stress when forcibly releasing the mold. Other times in the molding cycle are related to whether the production process is continuous and automated, and the extent of the two processes.

Vulcanizing Machine Operation Manue:

When using the vulcanizer, be sure to follow certain specifications in order to extend its service life.

  1. First of all, we must prepare the tools, metal parts and rubber materials for the products. The rubber materials for different purposes must not be confused. The weighing is calibrated with the platform scale, and the debugging is used again. When weighing and weighing, the items and weights should be taken lightly. It is not allowed to take the weight by hand, avoid moving the hand and touching the cursor and scale of the weighing instrument. The semi-finished product of the rubber compound must be accurately and made into a corresponding shape.
  2. Before starting the vulcanizer, carefully check the vulcanizer, electrical instrument, hydraulic system, pipe fittings for abnormalities, cleaning equipment, and miscellaneous goods on the workbench. Adjust the temperature time and pressure of the required product according to the process requirements, and do not change it without permission. Clean the mold oil and rubber before vulcanization, and use a fine cotton yarn, fine cloth or soft brush to scrub the mold or apply the release agent. When removing the mold glue, it is necessary to use utensils made of bamboo, wood, and brass, and iron utensils are prohibited.
  3. Be careful when loading and unloading the mold, do not hit the cavity, and do not put the wrong template. Multi-mode production at the same time, each mold template must not be confused. When the flat plate is about to be under pressure, the energy should be concentrated, and attention should be paid to observe the mold clamping condition, and the pressure can be suppressed without abnormality. After the pressure, the exhaust gas should be immediately depressurized. During the vulcanization process, the pressure should be released in time to reach the specified pressure.
  4. At the beginning of vulcanization, the rubber spilled from the mold can be removed in time and can be reused, but the semi-desulfurized and vulcanized rubber is prohibited from being recycled or mixed into the semi-finished rubber compound. After the cold mold is opened, the vulcanization time is slightly extended during the first time of vulcanization. Brass or iron mold-opening tools are used according to the precision of the product and the mold, but the precision mold is not allowed to use the iron mold-opening tool.
  5. To accurately grasp the vulcanization time, do not sulphur or sulphur. If the vulcanization process is out of power, the vulcanization time should be extended appropriately. Timely maintenance and maintenance of equipment, oil mold maintenance should be timely and properly preserved after use. Always keep the workplace clean and close the doors and windows when the wind blows, to prevent dust from entering the area and water.
