Activated alumina is used for a wide range of adsorbent and catalyst applications including the adsorption of catalysts in polyethylene production, in hydrogen peroxide production, as a selective adsorbent for many chemicals includingarsenic,fluoride, insulfurremoval from gas streams (Claus Catalyst process).
