TAS104SI Series is a product series with hardware and software designed based on ARM Embedded

Industrial Control System. With the core of industrial grade ARM, it expanded 10.4 inch LCD, touch

screen and define a set of LCD instruction& relevant interpreter. By simply sending the commands

through the serial port, you can achieve a variety of graphical and text display function.

Pictures are the backgrounds of all displayed contents which are downloaded to the module via TF Micro SD Card

Format of variables, including texts, numbers, icons, curves etc. and buttons(touch logics) are defined by configuration file(bin file).Users can design them and download via TF MicroSD card

Content of variables is saved in the Variable Data memory ((40K) Users can update the value in variable data memory to real-time display.

By using HMI TAS-GLCM, magnificent display effect can be achieved easily and rapidly, with much less programming than ever before. Variables are defined by TAS-GLCM and users can feel free to design the pictorial GUI.


Differences between the traditional LCD and UART interface LCD

1) Without code programming for realizing GUI effects, users may read and rewrite the code that is stored in the variable memory by serial ports, which greatly reduces the code amount of users' micro controller, and the touching logics as well as displayed contents are defined by configuration files.

2) Functions such as conversing image format and supporting animation effects and images are equipped. Also an extensive font, icon, and image library available for user selection.

3) With only an SD card containing XRD_SET folder which stored touch config. File, Image Icon file, it can realize interface effects without PC terminal assistant operation.

4) Extreme response speed of refresh time (≤200 ms) to meet users' highly real time requirements; Commands will never overflow from the buffer, so that no necessity for users to judge the condition of serial port

5) With only three data lines, the MCU is capable of controlling the LCD module. Anyone can perform TFT design with minimal programming.
